The Thailand newspaper, released today (12), has revealed that interim President Ranil Wickremesinghe, elected by the votes of Pohottu councillors, has bowed down before the Rajapaksas.
Ranil Wickremesinghe has pleaded not to present Dhammika Perera as a candidate for the presidential election.
The newspaper further reported that the request was made at the meeting between Ranil Wickramasinghe and Rajapaksas on the 10th.
