Pavithra’s preference is Ranil

Pavitra Vanniarachchi, elected to Parliament from the Pohottuwa Party, has now started standing directly for President Ranil Wickramasinghe.
She emphasized this at a meeting of activists of the Pohottuwa party held in Ratnapura yesterday (21 saying. “Since current President Ranil Wickrapamasinghe is the most suitable candidate to compete in the next presidential election, a decision will be made in the next two months to support his victory.” This has been reported in today’s (22nd) Dinamina newspaper.
Pavitrala Vanniarachchi was one of the prominent few who supported vehemently for the Rajapaksa family from the beginning and worked against the Maithripala Sirisena – Ranil Wickremesinghe joint administration.
