Serious objections are being raised by trade unions, political parties, civil organizations and the public regarding the non-recording of at least a statement from former Keheliya Rambukwella regarding the financial crimes committed in purchasing medicines for the Ministry of Health.
The Criminal Investigation Department has started extensive investigations and even arrested the former secretary of the Ministry of Health regarding the acquisition of the immunoglobulin drug. Before this, an officer had stated before the court regarding drug trafficking that legal action was taken against officers like him when the country knew who the mastermind in the matter was.
