According to Dr Saman Ratnayake, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Health, 65 types of medicines have been withdrawn from use due to quality-related problems in the past seven months of this year.
Dr Saman Ratnayake further mentions that among the 65 types of drugs, there is a drug imported under Indian loan assistance, and 06 locally produced drugs are among them.
