The decision of the people’s battle’ clasp together’ is on Monday

Wasantha Samarasinghe, co-convener of the coordination centre, says the trade unions will announce following Monday (3rd) the verdict on the joint People’s struggle’ clasp together’ based on several issues, including the sale of government institutions, repression, cost of living, tax policy, reduction of electricity charges and getting an allowance of twenty thousand rupees for everyone.
He also emphasized that the trade union struggle will be carried out in such a way that there is minimal impact on people’s lives. Accordingly, he said, all trade unions, political parties, mass organizations, etc. will be united and carry out these battles against the government.
Accordingly, he said that they would meet next Monday to agree on this ‘people’s battle’ and announce the relevant decision on that day.
They have sent a letter to the President’s Secretary regarding their decision,.
