Shots fired near Prime Minister’s office

A massive crowd has already gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s office and the security guards deployed there have opened fire.
Tear gas and water cannons have also been used.
It is reported that military reinforcements have been called to Colombo and warplanes with mechanical firearms are flying very close to the ground in the sky near the Galle Face.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that a number of people have been injured in the attacks by the security forces.
