The Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) Janaka Rathnayake says the new methodology adopted by the commission will not lead to scheduled power cuts for the next three months.
However, he requested the general public, state and private institutions to conserve electricity and use it cautiously by utilizing personal generators.
The Chairman of PUCSL also stated that power generated from hydropower sources will be reduced by 50% from tomorrow (16th).
