The Professionals’ National Front points out that the fertilizer from a Chinese company was imported to Sri Lanka by a nephew of Gamini Senarath, the present Secretary to the President.
This was revealed in a press release signed by its Secretary Engineer Kapila Renuka Perera, and it states as follows.
“The appointment of Gamini Senarath as the Secretary to the President is a major issue as the importation of fertilizer from a Chinese company was done by a company owned by a nephew of his. Sri Lanka had to pay a large fine due to it. Also, there are doubts whether he was also involved in the matter.”
