It has been revealed that summoning veteran artist and social media activist Sudantha Thilakasiri to the Computer Crimes Division today (15th) has boomeranged on the government.
Speaking to the media this evening, he has stated that the summons will not stop his political activities. When the artist arrived at the CID, a large crowd, including lawyers, artists and politicians, had gathered to support him.
Attorney-at-Law Sunil Watagala giving instructions, said that though the summons letter was invalid, Sudantha had come forward to make a statement as a disciplined citizen. After giving the statement, Sudantha Thilakasiri further stated that he would give a complete account of the incident on his social media networks in the future.
