It is revealed that a massive amount of gold from the official reserves of Sri Lanka has been sold within a month.
The monthly report issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka gives the relevant data.
At the end of November 2021, gold reserves stood at US $ 382.2 million. It was down to US $ 175.4 million at the end of December. It means US $ 206.8 million worth of gold sold in a month.
