The body of Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana, who was brutally murdered in Sialkot, Pakistan, will be brought to Sri Lanka today (6th), say reports.
The Ministry of External Affairs and the Sri Lankan High Commission in Pakistan are coordinating this. Earlier, the media had reported that the body would be flown to the Katunayake airport by a special flight from Lahore, Pakistan. The body will be handed over to the close relatives of Priyantha Kumara.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chowdhury has told the media that the government will pay compensation to his family members.
