Hong Kong has classified Sri Lanka as a high-risk country due to the rapid spread of the Delta variety and the high mortality rate in Sri Lanka.
According to sources at the Sri Lankan Embassy in China, the classification will be effective from today (20th).
Accordingly, strict quarantine laws will be enforced for persons coming to Hong Kong from Sri Lanka.
