The trade union representatives say that from next Monday, all government and private trade unions will work together to close the country if the government does not decide to close the country by next Friday.
The National Organizer of the National Trade Union Center Wasantha Samarasinghe states that the government should take action to close the country scientifically and that the government should decide in this regard by this Friday.
If the government fails to do so, the trade unions of the public, private, estates and semi-public sectors will unite to carry out a self shut down of the country to provide the necessary facilities to the health staff emphasized Mr Wasantha Samarasinghe.
