On July 22, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez called for the overthrow of the Cuban Socialist government by U.S. forces, just as the Noriega government in Panama was overthrown. The regime of Joe Biden, who was seriously injured in the war in Afghanistan and also suffered from corona, does not currently have the strength to fight on several fronts with the revolutionary movements in Russia, China and the region. The Biden administration, which went to great lengths to help the Cuban counter-revolutionaries, finally declared that it was ready to provide vaccinations, health care and other relief without the intervention of the Cuban government. However, American mass organizations have condemned these interventions and the economic sanctions imposed and have provided the Cuban government with 1.7 million syringes needed for vaccinations. Russia and Mexico have also sent several aircraft and ships carrying food, health supplies, oil and other emergency aid.
In the wake of Cuba’s failed “uprising,” the Western media say that the Cuban Communist Party’s ability to mobilize millions of people to defend the 1959 revolution is astounding. They now state that it is a dream to launch an operation to overthrow the Cuban government without a massive armed movement capable of confronting that force. International war experts also say that the rapidly emerging left movements will be strengthened in the event of such a conflict, and it will not be possible to stop the emergence of socialist states in the entire South American region with Russian-Chinese support.
However, 24 hours after the wave of protests in Cuba, the Cuban government carried out a series of rapid reforms in the economic sphere. It also allows the importation of essential food and hygiene items by air and sea without duty and restrictions. Even though some Western media outlets have confirmed that the Abdala vaccine, introduced by the Cuban State Health Organization (CECMED), is showing 100% success after three doses, the European drug mafia is still not allowing vaccines manufactured by Russia, China, Iran and Cuba to enter E.U. countries.
Cuba has introduced five types of vaccines without any assistance from the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund due to sanctions imposed since 1962. Despite the wave of protests that erupted this July, there has been widespread media coverage worldwide that Cuba’s corona wave has risen and that the government is failing to control the situation. Despite the lack of significant corona growth in Cuba compared to other countries and the introduction of five vaccines to the world, there is widespread speculation in international health circles that the campaign and the crisis in Cuba may result from trade competition with the vaccine. However, 37 countries, including Vietnam, have so far offered to buy vaccines manufactured in Cuba.
In the end, the crisis in Cuba became an advantage as people around the world rallied to defend the Cuban Revolution. Meanwhile, organizations for the Cuban Revolution in the United States have provided 1.7 million syringes needed for vaccines, and another 4 million syringes are due within two months. Russia, meanwhile, has flown An-124 aircraft to transport 88 tons of medical supplies, including medicine, essential food and one million masks. Also, neighbouring Mexico supplied food, oxygen and oil to Cuba by two ships. Meanwhile, American insurance companies have blocked the transfer of large sums of money collected by the Swiss people to the Cuban government through Swiss banks. The U.S. Navy has also intercepted a group of ships carrying Venezuelan oil en route to Cuba. When the socialist camp collapsed in 1989, Cuba lost 72% (PIB) of its GDP. This year too, tourism and sugar exports lost about 15% due to the Corona epidemic. In the face of these collapses, inflation rose 500%, leading to large queues and a wave of protests across the country. Analyzing the crises, pro-Cuba economists point out that the crises could be prevented from recurring when the country develops alternative economic reforms.
