Cuba wins again against USA

The UN General Assembly has voted overwhelmingly, by a vote of 184 to two, in favour of Cuba against the USA. The vote at the UN General Assembly was for an annual resolution calling for the end of the nearly 60-year-old US embargo on Cuba for the 29th time.
the United States and Israel voted against the resolution while Ukraine, Colombia and Brazil abstained.
Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez Padilla told the General Assembly, “This constitutes an act of genocide. Just like the virus, the blockade asphyxiates and kills, and it must stop. Homeland or death! We will win.”
Ever since the resolution was first introduced in 1992, UN member states have approved it by an overwhelming margin. The most no votes it has ever garnered were four, including those of the United States and Israel. Israel has always voted with the US.
Addressing the UN General Assembly the minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez said, “In 2020, Cuba, like the rest of the world, was faced with the singular challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The US Administration took on the virus as an ally in its merciless non-conventional war; it deliberately and opportunistically stepped up the economic, commercial and financial blockade, bringing about losses for the country in the amount of around 5 billion dollars.”

Concluding his Speech the minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba said, “ I deeply appreciate the solidarity aid of our fellow countrymen and of the friends of Cuba in many parts of the world, which we greatly cherish, including those that with great efforts, given the opposition of the government, have arrived from the United States.
We are encouraged by the support received from thousands of persons around the world who have gathered to demand the US government to put an end to the blockade. Many Cubans who exalt the lone star flag even here in this country have been among the protagonist of such actions.
On behalf of my country and its honorable and generous people that resist and heroically fights its way to progress, I submit draft resolution A/75/L.97 “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba” to your consideration.
Like the virus, the blockade suffocates and kills and must stop!
Homeland or Death! We shall prevail!
Thank you
