President of the Public Health Inspectors’ Association Upul Rohana says that “orders” have been issued by higher-ups to immediately remove random PCR testing centres set up at 12 locations in the Western Province.
“Today, the country is in a very dangerous place. It would be very dangerous to order a halt to random PCR testing when the whole country needs to be shut down and all infected people in the community to be tested,” Mr Upul Rohana said.
