It is reported that three employees issuing tickets at the Kottawa entrance of the Southern Expressway have been identified as having corona infections.
Due to this situation, vehicles entering from the Kottawa entrance are allowed to enter the expressway without tickets being issued and only ambulances and buses are allowed to use the Kottawa exit.
Other vehicles should exit the expressway using the Athurugiriya or Kahathuduwa interchanges.
