Am I the only one who harms the environment? – President

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa asked whether he is the only person who destroys and harms the environment. He was speaking at the inauguration of ‘Surakimu Ganga’ national program today (22nd).
Environmental pollution is now the talk of the town, and there are various opinions on the subject, said President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. He also said those who speak on the media regarding the environment say that he is the only person who harms the environment and asked those concerned not to make talking about the environment a fashion but to fulfil their responsibilities towards the environment without commenting on the issue.
The President also stated near the Menik River in the Kataragama Historic Sacred Area that 103 rivers in the country will be conserved under the ‘Surakimu Ganga’ National Program.
