Sarath Lal Perera, Chief Secretary of the National Organization for the Protection of Pension Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The petitioners submitted to the Supreme Court that the relevant constitutional amendment bill has been presented in strict compliance with legal procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the petitioners requested the Supreme Court to rule that the bill can be passed in Parliament without requiring approval at a national referendum.<\/p>\n<div class='saic-wrapper saic-default saic-border' style='overflow: hidden;'><div
