petitions seeking permission to intervene and present submissions regarding the petition filed by former State Intelligence Service (SIS) Chief, retired Major General Suresh Sallay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Major General Sallay\u2019s petition challenges his potential arrest and detention in connection with ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During today&#8217;s proceedings, legal counsel representing the Deshahithaishi National Movement and the Deshapremi Janatha Movement presented preliminary submissions on behalf of their respective intermediary petitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the initial arguments, the Court of Appeal postponed further consideration of the intermediary
