The appointment was made this morning at the Presidential Secretariat, with Presidential Secretary Dr. Nanditha Sanath Kumanayake presenting the official letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Suriyapperuma steps into this key administrative role after resigning from his position as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Finance &amp; Planning.
