government launching the first phase of the \u201cPunarudayata Maga\u201d initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Backed by a Rs. 14 billion investment, this initial stage will focus on improving 55 key rural roads, laying the foundation for the broader goal of upgrading 1,000 roads island-wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation confirmed that multiple development projects are being launched in tandem, marking one of the largest infrastructure mobilizations aimed at enhancing rural connectivity and
