Gen. Lasantha Rodrigo has disclosed to the media that a comprehensive investigation will be initiated into the disappearance of 73 T 56 firearms from a camp of the Sri Lanka Army.<br \/>President Anura Kumara Dissanayake first revealed the disappearance of the firearms and said that 38 of those weapons had been taken back into police custody.<br \/>The Army Commander has stated that in addition to the police investigations, the Army has also launched a special investigation.<br \/>According to the facts revealed, this stockpile of weapons has disappeared from a camp belonging to the Sri Lanka Army during the Gotabaya Rajapaksa administration.
