amount evaded more than three million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colombo Additional Magistrate Bandara Ilangasinghe again issued summons yesterday (4) to Janaka Ratnayake, the former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission, and his wife to appear before the court on December 10.<br \/>It is related to the non-payment of over three million rupees worth of VAT due to the government on behalf of a computer service provider in the Kirulapana area.<br \/>Janaka Rathnayake and his wife Kumari Yasoda Silva, the husband and wife, were the defendants in this incident and were summoned to appear before the court.<br \/>However, the respondents did not appear before the court;
