Attorney at Law Sunil Watagala has asked information officials of the Presidential Secretariat whether cabinet approval had been obtained before the President gave Hareen Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara, who had lost their ministerial positions due to the loss of their positions by court order, advisory positions in the ministries where they held ministerial positions.
Harin Fernando, who served as Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Tourism and Lands at the time of losing his position as a member of parliament, has been given the position of adviser in the same ministry and Manusha Nanayakkara, who was serving as minister of labour and foreign employment at the time of losing his position as member of parliament, has been given a position of adviser in the ministry he had before losing his Parliamentary seat.<\/p>\n
