president, foreign minister and others killed in helicopter accident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran&#8217;s Foreign Ministry said in an official announcement that Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdulrahman and several other government officials died in a helicopter crash.<br \/>Red Crescent rescue operations managed to find the wreckage of the missing helicopter in a mountainous area on the border between Azerbaijan and Iran, and they presume that the craft may have crashed due to thick fog.<br \/>At the time of the accident, the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdulraheen was flying from neighbouring Azerbaijan to Tabriz, a city northwest of Iran.<br \/>Authorities in Tabriz have confirmed that two other helicopters accompanied the one carrying the Iranian president and foreign minister and landed safely in thick fog.<br \/>The Iranian President and Foreign Minister had gone to Azerbaijan to inaugurate the two dams named Kis Kalasi and Kodafarin, which were built in the country with aid from Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
