{"id":23545,"date":"2024-04-27T08:00:39","date_gmt":"2024-04-27T02:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lankatruth.com\/en\/?p=23545"},"modified":"2024-04-27T08:00:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-27T02:30:41","slug":"president-ranil-misuses-public-property-syu-complains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lankatruth.com\/en\/?p=23545","title":{"rendered":"President Ranil misuses public property \u2013 SYU complains"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/>\u00a0Eranga Gunasekara, the National Organizer of the Socialist Youth Union, has filed a complaint with the Bribery and Corruption Investigation Commission under the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023 regarding the misuse of public property by the current President Ranil Wickramasinghe.<br \/>Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Harin Prasanandu, Ministerial Secretary Acharara Kanapathipilla Mahesan and National Youth Service Council President Pasindu Gunaratne have been named respondents.<br \/>\u00a0During a political rally named &#8216;Sabewa&#8217; held in Kuliapitiya on March 10, vehicles bearing numbers NA 9099, NB 1389, NB 3384, NB 3383 belonging to the National Youth Service Council were allegedly used without authorization.
