A young person who received treatment from a private medical center has died after taking medicine.
The deceased is a 28-year-old resident of Kalalpitiya Road, Ukuwela. On the 19th, he had gone to a medical center in Ukuwela to receive treatment for a phlegm-related condition.
After taking the medicine given there, several physical issues, including difficulty in breathing, have occurred. Later, due to those difficulties, he was admitted to Matale General Hospital and the young man, who was already in a critical condition, died at the hospital.
The post-mortem examination of the dead body has been conducted at the Matale Hospital, and an open verdict has been given. The parts of the dead body and the samples of the drugs he used have been sent to the government analyst to obtain a further report.<\/p>\n
