From January to June 2022, 267.1 million dollars was spent on the import of medicines, and this year, 364.4 million dollars have been spent during the relevant period.<br \/>It is clear that there is an acute shortage of drugs in the country even though a large amount of foreign exchange is spent on drugs imported into the country in the background of no significant increase in drug prices in the world market.
