These people are gathered here today to make an important decision. We need to change this country. The elderly here may have voted to form governments and overthrow governments. What did these rulers do after getting votes and forming governments? The country was completely destroyed. They took loans and gave contracts to friends. They stole. What are they doing? Money is borrowed, and taxes are levied. The treasury gets full, and these guys steal that wealth. What was the final result? They made the country unable to pay its debts. On April 12 last year, the government took the decision not to pay back the loans taken. Now we have become an indebted country. A loan was obtained from Bangladesh, promising to pay in six months. Now Bangladesh is sending letters asking to pay back the loan. The country was destroyed. We are unable to pay the debt. It is what has happened today. Now, we have become cheaters to the world. These rulers broke down the economy. Agricultural lands were destroyed. There are no medicines in the hospitals. There is no paper to print question papers either. The price of goods has been raised, and unlimited taxes have been levied. They have destroyed the whole country. These rulers ruled this country for a long time in the rotation. Rotation politics has destroyed this country. From time to time, the people voted for these rulers and brought them to power. The people also have to take responsibility for this country’s destruction. These are the governments that you all voted for. In history we made mistakes, and we were misunderstood, but now it must be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We came to meet you to propose that instead of these destructive governments, let’s form a government that will build this country. We all have to come together for that. We used to think that the power lies with Mahinda, Gotabaya, Hakeem and Athaullah. No, the power is not in the hands of the rulers. People took to the streets. The presidential palace was raided. Gotabaya fled through the back door to the Maldives. The people raided Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Temple Trees. Mahinda Rajapaksa fled and went into hiding in a Trincomalee Navy Camp. Power is in the hands of the people. The time of fear is over. Let’s all come together and form a people’s government where the Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims live in harmony. That\u2019s the type of country all of us need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today the political wind is blowing towards the \u2018compass\u2019. If you look at social media, young people are at the top. They are volunteering to work to bring victory to the Compass. A large number of Muslim youths are on Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. They stand up for the Compass and work to make the compass win. If you go to a foreign country, the Sri Lankans in those countries, whether they are Sinhalese, Tamils \u200b\u200band Muslims, gather around the Compass. Today’s reports have revealed that the Compass will win all local councils in Hambantota district. The Compass will win all councils in Matara, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa. A great power is being built all over the country. Hand over Kinnia Municipal Council and the Regional Council to the Compass. If that happens, the next government will be formed by the Compass. Let us make use of this political diversion. We have to build this country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our children need a good and reliable country. To build this country, the government must first be changed. We should build a government that does not steal or waste. We, of the Compass, will catch thieves and punish them. Do you remember what Maithripala said when he came to power? He said that Mahinda had stolen. He said they would not let the thieves escape; they will close the airport. What did he do? He gave Mahinda the prime ministership after three years. In 2019 they said Ranil Wickramasinghe was the central bank thief and the central bank thief would be put in jail, bring Arjuna Mahendran and punish him, People voted for Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Now they have got together and given the presidency to Ranil Wickramasinghe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They are together. They steal together and protect each other. They never go to jail. Prime Ministers of Bangladesh, Pakistan, Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu went to jail. Not a single member of the Sri Lankan local council go to jail. They are thieves. The law is not enforced. There is plenty of information and documentation. We need to build a government that will stop fraud, confiscate stolen property and punish fraudsters. We, of the Compass, will make that government. Keep the salary you get as an MP, the wealth earned from the business. However, If MPs have taken money to jump here and there, that money will be taken back. However, they can keep the money they earned. Sajith Premadasa also says that thieves will be punished. However, Kiriella is on the left side of Sajith’s stage, Rajitha Senaratne is on the right side, Harrison, Vijithamuni, Sajith all are on the stage. How can he punish those who stole?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government is trying its best to prevent this election. We defeated all the attempts to postpone the elections from the Parliament. Now they are trying to get the court involved. When power comes from Mahinda to Ranil, from Ranil to Mahinda or from Ranil to Sajith, they are not worried. They get upset when \u2018the Compass comes to power. When their power comes to our class, the poor class, they are affected. They say there is no money for voting. They have no right to be in power even for a single day if they dried up the treasury. The vote is necessary because they dried up the treasury. All this is being done because waves are blowing towards a new force in Sri Lanka towards the direction of the Compass. All fraudsters are scared now. We went to Muthur. Thousands of Muslims are ready to join the Compass. The people of Kinnia have come together to say that the country should be turned towards a new path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To build this country, we must go without racism. The rulers of our country always sow racism to gain power and maintain power. Ranil Wickramasinghe is trying to get Tamil votes by saying that he will give 13. Mahinda Rajapaksa is trying to get Sinhala votes by saying no to 13. However, all those votes will go to one bag. That is what they are trying to do. Don’t be deceived by them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What did they say until the last presidential election? They said there is sterile food, they sell sterile food to Sinhalese mothers, and there are sterile clothes to sterilize women. They said there are doctors who sterilize women. This was said until Gotabaya became president. When Gotabaya sat on the presidential chair, sterile food, sterile clothes and sterile doctors disappeared. Dr Safi, who was called by them a doctor who sterilized Sinhalese women, was compensated. They sowed racism, created conflicts, created a situation where the Sinhalese people were suspicious of the Muslim people and the Muslim people viewed Sinhalese people with suspicion. By creating this situation, the Gotabaya and his people took the votes in the south while the Muslim leaders in the east said Gotabaya was a racist leader, working against the Muslim people. They said to vote for the ‘tree’ to save the Muslims. They asked people in the East to cast they votes to Hakeem, Athaullah, Taufiq. Athaullah, Taufik, come to the parliament after taking such vote and vote for Gotabaya. Who raised his hand in favour of the twentieth amendment? It was Athaullah. Athaullah sits in the opposition. But he raises his hand for the government. Are they leaders? Behind those events are transactions. They get sold for big money. They get sold after taking votes from all of you. They will come again and say, \u201cThe nation is in danger. Let’s save the Muslims. They attack our Mosques. They attacked at Dambulla and Digana. Let’s send more of our people to the parliament.” That’s how it’s done every day. This needs to be changed. This Muslim society needs to create new leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NPP is a party of all the people. Comrade Munneer is in the executive council of the highest committee of the NPP. We have appointed Comrade Munneer as the team leader of the Weligama Municipal Council. The country does not need separate parties for the Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims. The Compass is the party of all these people. It is the party that creates national unity in this country. It is the party that protects People’s Rights. We need more Muslim leaders and Tamil speaking leaders. There are a lot of young people on this stage. These are the ones who should be your leaders. Have they come up to this stage to earn? You don’t need to climb this stage to earn. They have come on this stage to stop this wrong politics, corruption and racism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hakeem comes to the general election and takes some seats from the East. Supreme Council of his party is convened. They discuss whether to support Ranil of Chandrik. I have heard Chandrika asking \u201cHasn\u2019t Hakim come shopping yet?\u201d They bargain for ministries, presidencies, embassies. This is how the shopping was done. Those leaders became rich. People became poor. People’s issues increased. When an election comes, the stolen wealth is distributed. They distribute five thousand rupees cement bags, roof sheets etc. Wealth earned fairly cannot be distributed like that. You give 2 1\/2% of your wealth during Ramadan. It is correct according to Islam. But what they do is they go to parliament, steal, collect wealth, and distribute some of it when the election comes. It is haram. This politics should be stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are building a country with a governance without theft, a country with national unity, a country where the law is fair to everyone, and a country that is accepted by the world. These governments have angered the Middle East because of racism. We will build a country that punishes theft, a country where the law is fair, and there is no racism. To build a country, there must be national unity. Women should be protected. We\u2019ll build a country that everyone in the world will want to help, a country that all will respect. These rulers have disgraced our country. Let’s all come together and build a government that is free from thieves, fraud, racism, and is accepted by the world. That is the government of the Compass. Let\u2019s all come together for that. These are the leaders of Kinnia. We need to create more leaders in Kinnia. Send these people to the local council. Let’s start with the local council. Next, send them to Parliament. Let’s create new leaders who will talk about your real issues, who will not change sides, who will not steal, and who will not betray. Come forward to build such leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/a><\/figure>\n
