{"id":16889,"date":"2022-01-26T10:51:36","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T05:21:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lankatruth.com\/en\/?p=16889"},"modified":"2024-05-14T08:50:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T03:20:01","slug":"sapugaskanda-operation-held-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lankatruth.com\/en\/?p=16889","title":{"rendered":"Sapugaskanda operation held up"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Energy states that the resumption of operations at the Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery, which was closed due to a shortage of crude oil, will be further delayed.<br \/>It was decided to resume operations at the Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery tomorrow (27th), but due to the delay in the ship&#8217;s arrival with crude oil, the commencement of operations has been postponed until the 30th of next month, Ministry Secretary KDR Volga said.<br \/>The ship belonging to the Singaporean company, which has a long term contract to supply crude oil to Sri Lanka, was scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 24th.
