Chandrasena has presented a cabinet memorandum to hand over 500-acre government land to a private company in defiance of an eviction order issued by the Wellawaya Magistrate&#8217;s Court.<br \/>On April 22, 2016, the Wellawaya Magistrate&#8217;s Court ordered the eviction of Nelna Agri Development, a private company, from this 500-acre land. The Director-General of Forest Conservation had filed Case No. 97136\/16 against the company.
