Seek medical advice immediately &#8211; DD of Health Services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Director of Health Services, Dr Hemantha Herath said that if a fever persists for more than two days, medical advice should be sought immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He points out that there is an increased risk of patients dying due to dengue these days.<br \/>He said, &#8220;We generally expect the outbreak of dengue from May to September. Dengue is not like covid. You cannot escape with a meter away. It is likely to spread faster than covid. Therefore, do all you can to prevent dengue. It is important to seek medical advice if you have a fever for more than two days.
