Hopes of rescuing dozens aboard a missing Indonesian submarine faded Saturday (Apr 24) as its oxygen reserves were believed to have run out<br \/>A scan revealed that the submarine was about 850 meters (2,788 feet) deep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the Navy says the submarine is designed to withstand depths of up to 500 meters (1,640 feet).<br \/>The German-made KRI Nanggala-402 submarine went missing early Wednesday morning while carrying out a torpedo drill north of a resort in Bali.
