Pseudo video-tape to show General & Sambanthan signing agreement

There is information of an attempt to telecast, over the state media as an advertisement, a doctored video-tape that shows the Common Candidate Gen. Sarath Fonseka and Leader of the TNA R. Sambanthan signing an agreement says Mr. Anura Dissanayake, co-spokesman for the Common Candidate.

He said despite five days have gone by since challenging the government to produce any evidence to show that there had been an agreement between Gen. Fonseka and the TNA, there has been no response from the government.

Mr. Dissanayake said plans for necessary legal action regarding the pseudo video-tape has been already taken and appealed to the masses not to be deceived by petty conspiracies of the bankrupt government.

We have seen the same swing in 1994 when Chandrika contested. The General has now shown that he is better equipped to handle the problems of the country with a bunch of honest politicians. With all their mud slinging Gen. Fonseka is getting popular day by day. If they are sure of victory, why are they slinging so much of mud at General Fonseka? They have been bluffing people since 2005, so people don't believe them anymore.

Don't worry General, according to my recent survey people accepted you and rallying around you in thousands. So JAYAWEWA to our General.
